Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday saluted the soldiers of Indian Army who are deployed in Ladakh and therefore are protecting India’s border.
Younger crowd paid tribute to soldiers who had been killed within the face-off with Chinese soldiers inside the Galwan Valley on June 15.
“The bravery that you and your compatriots showed, an email moved to the world about India’s strength. Nation rests peacefully because of your bravery,” PM Modi said while addressing the soldiers.
Next he said that this resolve for self-reliant India is strengthened as a result of sacrifice and bravery in our soldiers.
